• Created 1,000 new jobs in Eastern Prince William since 2008.
• Maintained taxes at 2007 levels – 34% lower than Fairfax County.
• Led the way in revitalizing Route 1 by tearing down 32 blighted buildings, adding roadside landscaping, and cleaning-up litter at parks, streams, and roadways in the community.

• Opening of new public schools, performing arts center, parks, trails, roads, bridges, and expanding libraries.
• Three new schools opened in Sept. 2011.
• Expansion of Potomac Community Library on Opitz Blvd.
• Finalized the Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail Cooperative Agreement.
• Featherstone National Wildlife Refuge will be open to the public for the first time this fall.
• Made our community safer by hiring 18 new police officers to keep up with a 43% population growth and aggressively enforcing commercial and residential zoning laws.
• Opposed construction of new big box stores, strip malls, residential units, and drive-through restaurants on Route 1.
